About Me

Hello!!!!! I'm Coach Berndt, most people call me Coach B. I was born in Oshkosh, WI, and have lived all over the world the last 24 years. I retired from the U.S. Army in 2020, as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer in the Infantry. I'm very excited to be at Northside Middle School, as this is my second year here. I have been in education for the last five years. When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me either on a golf course or coaching basketball. I'm a very big fan of the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers. 
     I have been married to my beautiful wife McKenzie Berndt for 23 years and we have two beautiful children, my daughter Hallee (22) who recently graduated from Winthrop University and is now pursuing her Masters degree at the University of South Carolina, and my son LJ (18) who is a Senior at Hammond School and plays Varsity football there.

    I'm always available to talk and answer any questions you may have. I look forward to a great 2025-2026 school year. Go Cougars!!!!!
