8th Grade IGP Conferences are March 5-21, 2018

The South Carolina Department of Education requires that every eight grade student and his/her parent(s) meet with a school counselor to select a career cluster and participate in the development of an Individual Graduation Plan (IGP). This year, IGP conferences will begin on March 5, 2018 at Northside Middle School.

During the IGP conference, you and your child will meet with Mrs. Cannon to discuss his/her current and past academic progress, educational goals, and plans for high school and beyond. Each conference will be approximately twenty minutes in length.

During IGP conferences each year, students have the opportunity to re-evaluate their goals and adjust plans accordingly.

Looking Forward to seeing you!

Mrs. TaShawn Cannon

March 14th ~ National Walk-Out

Dear Lexington Two family:
The recent tragedy at a Florida high school has left students and parents alike wanting to know more -- and do more -- about school safety.

To that end, students across the country are driving a campaign of events to advocate for safer schools. Among the largest is a planned 17-minute walkout at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, in memory of the 17 Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School victims on the one-month anniversary.
