A Little Bit About Me!

Hey, my name is Christina von Mehren! I am so excited to start my second year at Northside Middle School as an 8th grade ELA and 7th grade Advanced ELA teacher. Previously, I taught for 6th and 7th grade ELA for 3 years in Orangeburg County. Before teaching, I lived in Atlanta and graduated from the University of Georgia- GO DAWGS! In school, I studied Public Relations and Political Science before deciding I wanted to be in the classroom. During my first and second year teaching, I worked and earned my Master’s degree in Education and Learning as well as my certification in Gifted and Talented teaching. When I’m not at school, you can find me reading on my back porch, watching reality tv or hanging out with my fiancé and our sweet dogs, Georgie and Frankie!
