About Me

Hello!!!!! I'm Coach Berndt, most people call me Coach B. I was born in Oshkosh, WI, and have lived all over the world the last 24 years. I'm very excited to be at Northside Middle School, as this is my first year here. I have been in education for the last four years, since retiring in 2020 from the U.S. Army, as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer in the Infantry. 
     I have been married to my beautiful wife McKenzie Berndt for 23 years and we have two beautiful children, my daughter Hallee (21) who is a senior this year at Winthrop University, and son LJ (17) who will be a junior at River Bluff High School.
     When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me either on a golf course or coaching football on the sidelines. I'm a very big Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers fan. I look forward to a great 2024-2025 school year. Go Cougars!!!!!
