All middle school students in Lexington 2 will take the STAR Reading and STAR Math assessments during the first ten days of school. Hybrid students at Northside Middle School will take these on in person attendance days in homeroom classes. Students in the Virtual Academy will take these online through virtual ELA and Math classes. The results from STAR tests are used to evaluate student progress and to identify areas where additional support may be needed. For Hybrid Students, tt is very important that your child brings his/her Chromebook to school charged for the STAR assessments. Here is the testing schedule for the Hybrid Students:
- STAR Math - Sept. 11 (B Track), Sept. 14 (A Track)
- STAR Reading - Sept. 17 (A Track), Sept. 18 (B Track)
