WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- Lexington Two’s full-time employees received an early holiday gift -- a one-time 2% bonus.
Superintendent Dr. William B. James Jr. recommended the bonus, and the Board of Trustees approved it. The bonus was distributed in a separate check just before November’s Thanksgiving break.
“The Board and administration understand that working conditions this year have been unusually hard amid COVID-19, and the hope is that the bonus will not only help financially but will illustrate concern we have for the employees of Lexington Two,” the district said in announcing the bonus.
