Star Assessments are short tests that provide teachers with learning data. Teachers analyze the data to learn what students already know and what they are ready to learn next, to monitor student growth, and to determine which students may need additional help.
Students take the assessments on their iPads, so it is very important they bring their devices to school with at least an 80% charge. There is no studying at home required for these assessments. Students should get a good night's sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive to school on time.
