About Me

Welcome to the NMS family, or welcome back Cougars to another AMAZING school year!

My name is Angela Mistisshen, and I am one of the 8th grade ELA teachers, as well as assistant cheerleading coach. What feels like many ages ago I too walked the halls of Northside Middle School and graduated from BCHS. I went to Columbia College for a bachelors in Middle Level Education with a focus in Social Studies and English Language Arts, with an add-on certification in Elementary Education. I then went back and got a master’s degree from Columbia College in Divergent Learning. Furthermore, I have a husband, 2 son's, and 1 daughter. I have 2 adorable pups, and recently adopted a cat. I can't wait to see what this school year has in store for all of our students, and know it will be the best school year yet!!
