About Me

My name is Bryson Summers, and I am entering my fourth year as Assistant Principal at Northside. I was raised in Springdale and grew up attending schools in Lexington District Two.  After graduating from Airport High School in 2005, I attended Presbyterian College where I earned a B.S. in Special Education.  While attending PC, I was also the punter on the football team.  Go Blue Hose!  I taught in both the middle and high school settings in Lexington District Two.  I have a passion for educating students and want every child to succeed in the classroom and the real world.

I have been happily married to my wife Lauren for 9 years.  Our daughter, Ann Malone (6), loves cheerleading, dancing, swimming, riding her bike, and playing with friends.  Our son Reynolds (4) enjoys playing any sport that involves a ball, swimming, and snack time.  When I am away from school, I enjoy playing golf, being outdoors, and spending quality time with family and friends.  Saturdays in the fall you will typically find us near Williams-Brice Stadium pulling for the Gamecocks!

I am excited about the 2024-2025 school year at Northside and look forward to working with our teachers and staff to ensure that all students are given the tools necessary to be successful in life!
