Belinda Hardin - Science
My name is Belinda Hardin and I am a product of Lexington District 2. I have been teaching middle school for the past 25 years. I graduated from Clemson University in 1990 and began my teaching career at the Department of Juvenile Justice. I taught at DJJ for 11 years until my husband was transferred to Atlanta, Georgia. While in Georgia, I taught Math and Science at an IB school and was part of a 21st Century Learning program. Five years ago we were fortunate enough to move back. This is my 5th year back in South Carolina where I have taught 6th grade Science at Pine Ridge Middle School and 8th grade Science at the Virtual Academy last year. I am now very excited to be teaching Science at Northside Middle School this year.
On a personal side, I have been married to my husband for 26 years who I actually met in my 8th grade year at Northside. We have two children. Our daughter recently graduated from Clemson University and is now teaching 3rd grade in the upstate. Our son is a Senior at Clemson also pursuing his Education degree. My most favorite things to do outside of school are finding beautiful places to hike in our state and living a healthy lifestyle by working out and running as much as I can.
