About Me

Hello, my name is Jen Ackerson.  I have over 25 years of experience in education, with 16 years dedicated to working in school libraries. This is my third year serving at NMS. Additionally, I am certified in Elementary Education and Middle School Science.  My partner and I live in the Columbia area and have three children. We enjoy traveling, boating on Lake Murray, attending local events, and spending quality time with family.

 

I am passionate about reading, which I believe is an excellent way to explore new ideas, learn about different cultures, and expand one’s knowledge. Whether you prefer fiction, non-fiction, poetry, or other genres, reading can transport you to incredible places without leaving your seat.
