About Me
Hey! My name is Jen Ackerson and I am the Librarian for Northside Middle School!
I have been an educator for over 25 years with 15 years in the library. This is my 2nd year at NMS. I am also certified in Elementary Education and Middle School Science.
My partner and I live in the Columbia area and have three children. We enjoy traveling, boating on Lake Murray, checking out local events, and spending time with family.
I especially love to read. Reading is a fantastic way to explore new ideas, learn about different cultures, and expand your knowledge. Whether you enjoy fiction, non-fiction, poetry, or any other genre reading has the power to take you on incredible journeys without leaving your seat.
