About Me

Hi there! My name is Lauren Steyne and this is my third year teaching 6th grade English Language Arts.

 

I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Education from the University of South Carolina Honors College. Before going back to achieve my certification, I enjoyed working for a local nonprofit in the social work field. I have a passion for working with children and helping others.

 

I live in Columbia with my husband and our two dogs, Roo and Pearl. I have a passion for reading, exercise, and cooking. We also love cheering on the Gamecocks at home games.
