About me

I have raised 3 children that are all grown and live here in Columbia. I have 6 grandchildren that range in age from 8 down to 6 months and they are all a joy in my life.

I began my career at Irmo High where I served as the head Cheerleader coach and loved teaching so very much. I stayed home for many years and raised my children and then returned to what I have a passion to do, teaching!.

I have served on the Lexington District 5 School Board for 16 years where I have continued to lobby for teachers and students.

I am a graduate of Winthrop University and have a Masters in Teaching from University of S.C.
