NMS is excited to announce our Poinsettia fundraiser. Please support Northside as we work together to raise funds to give our cafeteria courtyard a much needed makeover.

The orders and payment are due back by Friday November 16th. The Poinsettias will be delivered to NMS the first week of December.

Attention Parents,
If you have not turned your $25 in for your iPad protection plan by October 26th your iPad will not have insurance after that date. This means that if you break your tablet and have not paid for your protection plan, you will be responsible for the entire amount to have it fixed. A broken screen without insurance costs $100 to repair. Please contact Mrs. Mayson if you have any questions. WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Nearly 60 longtime employees of Lexington Two were recognized for their service Thursday.

Awards were presented for 10, 20 and 30 years of service in Lexington Two during a reception before the monthly Board of Trustees meeting. Among the recipients, their schools and years of service.
The employees from Northside Middle School are:
10 years: Linda Rucker, Kelly Sansom

This Thursday, September 20, all students will take the STAR Math assessment during homeroom. The STAR Reading assessment will be next Tuesday, September 25. Students take the assessments on their iPads, so it is very important they bring their devices to school with at least an 80% charge. For more information please click the headline above.

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) wants to assure that all children receive recommended vaccines to prevent disease. DHEC reminds parents and guardians that South Carolina law requires all students entering 7th grade receive one (1) dose of the Tdap vaccine. Any 8th graders who are college-bound are encouraged to take the Pre-SAT Test on October 10th. The cost is $16 and students must have money (cash or checks) upon signing up.
